Welcome to Queensland's Channel Country....
The Outback Mail Run takes you on an unforgettable journey through the eastern Channel Country region of Queensland. Join our mailman as he delivers Australia Post letters and parcels as well as local freight to our outback neighbours who live off the beaten track. The Outback Mail Run has stops at 10 remote Channel Country properties and covers nearly 400 km, twice a week. Ever wondered how the mail gets out there, and we mean really out there? Book a spot on the Outback Mail Run, meet a few locals and get in touch with your outback neighbours!
Some tour changes for 2013:
Smoko is now at Alaric Station and lunch is now at Trinidad with Margaret.
"Cattle Kings ye call us,
then we are Kings in Grass Castles
that may be blown away
upon a puff of wind." Patsy Durack 1878
